Cancerlinks
CancerLinks launched in mid 2009 as an improved and enlarged redevelopment of the Oxford Cancer Information site Minervation developed in 2007. The Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust was joined by Heatherwood & Wexham Park Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to expand the website to contain further regional information on cancer for several NHS Trusts in the south of England.
Each Trust could administer it's own links and section of the site whilst making user of the shared content that is common to all regions. The site includes access to Minervation's LIDA tool for appraising websites on accessibility, usability and reliability which helps the content authors rate the links they are adding to the site.
